Experience the superior quality and longevity of SoHo Urban Artist’s Professional Unprimed Linen Canvas Roll. This medium texture loose unprimed canvas roll is perfect for artists who prefer to prime their own canvas, providing a raw canvas surface that’s ready to take on your unique touch. The canvas roll is made from professional quality, archival linen, ensuring the fibers will survive for centuries if properly cared for. The canvas material by the yard is perfect for creating both large and small masterpieces. The #38 linen used in this roll is 10% heavier than #42, making it a sturdy choice for all kinds of artworks. Although the #38 linen can be used for portraiture, we generally do not recommend it for this purpose.

This unstretched canvas roll is a versatile choice for artists, providing a blank slate for all types of painting mediums. Whether you’re working with oil or acrylic, the natural canvas roll offers a stable and durable surface for your creative endeavors. The raw canvas for painting can be cut to size, allowing for custom-sized pieces or used as a long canvas for larger projects. The unstretched canvas for painting is also perfect for those who prefer to stretch their own canvases, offering the flexibility to create custom-sized pieces that are tailored to your specific needs.

The unprimed canvas roll can be primed to your preference, offering flexibility and control over your artwork’s initial surface. The canvas fabric for painting retains its natural color.
